Coffee and Cornbread can be enjoyed in person with online ordering available. It can also be enjoyed at home with delivery through Doordash. 

Crockett’s Fish Fry {162 Bloomfield Avenue}

There truly is nothing like fried food. Add it with classic soul-food favorites on the side and there are bound to be happy eaters. Crockett’s Fish Fry takes all the best seafood from tilapia to whitings — and fries them up to perfection. While the menu may be simple, the taste is anything but.

Talent passed through generations makes for a quality and loving product. That is exactly what Marion Lake, owner of Dem Two Hands offers. Beyond her line of sweaters, coats, tops, dresses, pants, and more, Lake likes to interact with her customers via virtual fashion shows every Friday. Since the start of the pandemic, Dem Two Hands has expanded its products to include accessories and masks. 

deVine Plantery {28 S Fullerton Avenue}

From what started off as an online store to a brick and mortar in Montclair, deVine Plantery has had quite the success in the last year. deVine Plantery provides beautiful and unique houseplants, as well as, plant accessories like plant misters, ceramic pots, fertilizer, and more. A few of their best-sellers are pothos, snake plants, and philodendron.

For over 13 years, Leo was brewing batches of beer in his home for gifts. The duo formally established their business in 2014 and then moved this endeavor out of their home and into the microbrewery and tasting room space in 2018. Visit the brewery in person, opt for curbside pick-up, or grab some friends for a virtual tasting event.

New Jersey and diners are already a match made in heaven. Enter owner Eliot Mosby and Chef Gus Moya, a duo even better than the one formerly mentioned. These two are known on the local food scene and bring expertise from their previous work with other diners in the area. The Montclair Diner was taken over by Mosby in 2019 and has been thriving ever since. Old favorites stayed on the menu while new creations have found their way into the hearts of old and new customers alike. This diner shot to fame when Mosby took his “Whoopi Waffle” creation on ‘The View’ to celebrate Whoppi Goldberg’s birthday.
