This cafe was created in partnership with a doggy dating app, which was designed as a way for singles to meet + connect while simultaneously having a puppy playdate. At this cozy coffee shop, guests are welcome to bring their pups to sit at outdoor tables, share a cup of coffee, and connect with others. It serves up toasts, sandwiches, juices, salads, and more. when it comes to beverages, it has a rainbow of colorful lattes (simply called green latte, blue latte, pink latte, etc), a variety of teas, and the usual brews. There’s also matcha on the menu.
Rey Sol Coffee Roasters | 22 Chestnut Street
Rey Sol Coffee Roasters, located on Chestnut St, is a new addition to the coffee scene in downtown Ridgewood. Opening in November 2020, Rey Sol boasts fresh coffee from Colombia, which the owners import from their own farm in Balboa Risaralda, Colombia. Visiting Rey Sol isn’t just about the coffee, though, as the chic decor makes popping in for a cup of joe an experience for customers. Rey Sol offers a number of delicious food items, as well, including empanadas, avocado toast, pan de Bono, and more.

A longtime staple of downtown Ridgewood, Ridgewood Coffee Company is a classic cafe with many loyal customers. Located in the heart of downtown Ridgewood, this cafe is often named the best of the best. Sook Pastry | 24 S Broad Street
When you’re looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a post-dinner coffee or cappuccino with a delicious pastry, Sook Pastry on Broad Street is the place to be. Open for just over a decade, Sook is a reliable spot for many Ridgewood locals. It’s both family-friendly and a great spot to bring a date. Pierre & Michel Authentic French Bakery | 38 E. Ridgewood Avenue
Another French-inspired cafe, Pierre & Michel Authentic French Bakery opened in Ridgewood back in 2018. This is the second Bergen County location of the cafe and bakery, with the first located in Elmwood Park. The chefs and co-owners are both from Paris and trained at Lenôtre and the four-star Hotel Concorde Lafayette before opening their business in the states, according to NorthJersey.com. White Maple Cafe | 47 E Ridgewood Avenue

Though more of a restaurant than a true coffee shop, White Maple Cafe’s coffee is worth dining-in for. They serve breakfast every weekday morning, while on weekends they have a popular brunch menu.
