Pick Up Crystals from Blu Lotus

Blu Lotus

Blu Lotus Metaphysical Center offers psychic readings, massage therapy, meditation circles, and yoga, as well as crystals, sage, candles, Buddha statues, dream catcher, lamps, and other meditation tools. Make it a point to stop in this month and pick up some healing crystals like amethyst to align your chakras and intentions for the upcoming weeks. Watch the Sunset at Eagle Rock

This expansive reserve spans Montclair, West Orange, and Verona at just over 400 acres long. The 40 mile Lenape Trail flows along the eastern edge of the park, a perfect destination to layout your favorite blanket, unpack a nice picnic, sit back and enjoy the sunset.

Take a Barre Class at The Bar Method

Inspired by ballerinas, the Bar Method’s technique is proven to tone arms, legs, and midsection while improving posture and core strength. No matter how addicting, be sure to utilize those rest days because you will have spaghetti legs the next day, if not immediately after – we can speak from experience!

Visit Kip’s Castle

Kip’s Castle

Kip’s Castle stands out among the other buildings in the area, towering above Montclair and Verona with an unobstructed view of New York City. Constructed on the ridge of First Mountain, the 9,000-square-foot mansion was built as a private residence in 1905 by wealthy textile inventor and industrialist Frederic Ellsworth Kip. The estate is open for tours, however, the first floor is currently closed to the public for COVID. Watch our reel here for a sneak peek of the castle.

Book a Staycation at The George

In 2008, the historic building was granted landmark status, and in 2012, after it was purchased, the Inn underwent a full renovation. Bobbi and Steven designed each of the rooms to have a bespoke look and feel that’s distinctly different from the rest.
