Stretch Recovery Lounge — an assisted stretching and athletic recovery facility — is opening up in Montclair at 130 Valley Road, which was previously NJ Fitness Factory. The business’ Facebook page made the announcement of the new location on May 16th. This will be Stretch Recovery’s fourth location, with the other establishments located in Ridgewood, Tenafly, and Westfield. The opening date is set for June 4th of this year. From Rugby to Entrepreneur: Stretch Recovery’s Founder
Stretch Recovery Lounge was founded in 2019 by Jake Feury, who is a current wing, center, and fullback for the MLR’s Rugby United of New York. Jake himself battled horrible back pain for years after suffering multiple fractures to his vertebrae. The saving grace for Jake ended up being stretch therapy, and this epiphany fueled him to think up and open Stretch Recovery Lounge’s first location in Ridgewood, according to Business Wire.

“By providing more flexibility, particularly in my lower body, I was finally able to move the way I needed to, without pain, for the first time in months,” Jake told Business Wire.

Since his founding in 2019, Jake has expanded his business to Tenafly and Westfield — and now Montclair is about to join that list come June.
Jake hopes his business can help others find relief through stretch therapy. Stretch therapy can help address stiffness, tightness, tension, mobility issues, or back pain. The move to Montclair furthers Jake’s goal to reach as many people as possible.

After the consultation, there are multiple tiered membership options to choose from: Silver Membership for $90 per month, Gold Membership for $155 per month, or Platinum Membership for $280 per month. The higher the membership tier, the more sessions you get per month plus the greater the discount on any service packages you buy beyond this.
