The restaurant will bring a high-tech sushi dining experience to Passaic County, complete with a traditional conveyor belt setup and tableside robot service. Shinjuku Station Coming to Clifton
According to Real Estate NJ, Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar recently signed a 5,000-square-foot lease at The Promenade Shops at Clifton. The new restaurant will feature a classic revolving sushi setup, where plates move throughout the dining room on a conveyor belt, along with tableside robot service for a more interactive experience. The Promenade Shops at Clifton is already home to several national and local tenants, including LA Fitness, Sephora, Ann Taylor Factory, J. Jill, Chico’s, Massage Envy, and more.

Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar was created with the goal of reimagining the sushi dining experience. The concept combines fresh sushi, a lively atmosphere, and tech-forward touches to make dinner feel more like a destination than just a quick bite. The brand has locations throughout the country, and according to the Shinjuku Station website, New Jersey appears to be a major focus for upcoming expansion. In addition to the planned Clifton location, the website lists future New Jersey spots in Springfield, Woodbury, and Montgomery Township.

An official opening date for Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar in Clifton has not yet been announced. The new restaurant is expected to open later this year at The Promenade Shops at Clifton.
