New food and drink spots open up in MTC all the time, and now there’s yet another one to check out. Falafel Guys, located at 148 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, serves up Mediterranean-style food like falafels, gyros, and hummus, among other dishes. As the name suggests, Falafel Guys serves up falafel (aka fried chickpeas), as well as other Mediterranean specialties like grilled kebabs, various types of gyros, hummus, and grape leaves, among other items. Everything is made in-house and is freshly prepared. There are a few seating options inside, but this no-frills eatery is definitely more of a take-out location (and who doesn’t love some good take-out?).
There are quite a few burger and sandwich options at this spot — some of the more classic options include a Spicy Guys Burger (with a special spicy sauce), a classic crispy chicken sandwich, and a chicken fajita sandwich. Customers can also choose a more Mediterranean-style option like a falafel, lamb, or beef gyro or wrap.
The menu also includes grilled chicken kebabs; platters over rice with your choice of chicken, beef, lamb, falafel, or shrimp; wings; chicken tenders; among other dishes. During our visit to Falafel Guys, we opted for a falafel gyro, a chicken gyro, fries, and chicken tenders, and it certainly did not disappoint.

Falafel Guys is open seven days a week on Bloomfield Avenue from 11AM-11PM, and provides dine-in, pickup, and delivery options. That said, it’s definitely a no-frills spot that’s primarily take-out.
