It expanded to Verona in 2023 with a physical storefront, and the menu is categorized into three different sections: hot dogs, combos, and signature dogs. Denville Dog + Grill | 99 Bloomfield Avenue, Denville
Denville Dog serves Stewart’s Root Beer on tap, along with a variety of other American food. It is only open for the spring and summer, and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating. The classic hot dog spot fits the Stewart’s vibe with colorful awnings and an outdoor ordering counter. As for ordering, obviously, try a hot dog — but there are other choices like burgers, fries, cheesesteaks, popcorn shrimp, onion rings, milkshakes, root beer floats, and more.

A tagline of “Tasty eats that can’t be beat” screams that this place has some good hot dogs. Serving up both Texas Weiner-style dogs deep fried and covered in homemade chili and a classic Italian hot dog, Goffle Grill is a must-stop spot for those in Jersey who love this meal.
Hank’s Frank’s | 210 US-46, Lodi
This tiny hot dog joint with huge flavor is about a mile away from the Teterboro airport. Since 1959 Hank’s Frank’s has been serving up some of the tastiest dogs in New Jersey. Unlike most other hot dog spots, these franks are boiled and served with toppings like onions in red sauce.

Hot Dog Johnny’s had very humble beginnings in 1944 with just a small stand run by husband and wife team John and Louise. Since its inception, the stand has grown into a full roadside eatery.
