The facility at Athletics Art Academy is over 10,000 square feet and the team offers Gymnastics, Summer Camp, and School-Age Childcare. The developmental classes focus on flexibility, strength training, basic tumbling, trampoline skills, basic gymnastic skills, and more. The Team A3 travels and competes in the USAG Xcel Program.

Diamond Gymnastics | 293 Pompton Avenue, Verona

Diamond Gymnastics is a 7,000-square-foot facility designed to teach kids gymnastics, cheerleading, and tumbling skills. The Pre-School level is designed for kids 15 months to 4 and a half years old. Classes are typically held in 12-14 week sessions during the fall, winter, and spring. For kids ages 5 and up, two levels for boys and four levels for girls are offered.

Flippin’ Out Tumbling + Gymnastics | 263 Hillside Avenue, Nutley + 210 West Parkway Unit 8, Pompton Plains

Flippin’ Out Tumbling and Gymnastics is dedicated to providing a safe environment that fosters learning and develops one’s gymnastics skills. The Pee Wee courses cater to kiddos from 18 months to 6 years. The Gymnastics and Tumbling programs cater to kiddos 6 years and older. The team also offers a team level with a USAG Xcel Program. Riverview Gymnastics in Wayne offers programs for preschool-age children and those interested in gymnastics and tumbling. Gymnastics classes will introduce and train students on uneven bars, vault, balance beam, tumble track, pommel horse, rings, and more. Riverview Gymnastic also has an XCEL Team that competes in competitions.

South Mountain YMCA | 111 Irvington Avenue, South Orange

South Mountain YMCA offers programs for walking-age children to those of 13 years of age. These classes take place at the First Presbyterian + Trinity Church at 111 Irvington Avenue in South Orange. Courses like Tiny Tumblers and Open Play are geared toward walking age to 3 years of age and introduce participants to sensory play, running obstacle courses, stretching, skill building, mat work, and more. For those 4-6 years of age, Kinder Gymnastics offers an environment for kiddos to build and improve their skills. Rollers, for kids 6-10 years old emphasize flexibility, strengthening, and the basics. Swingers/Keepers and Aspiring Aces is for kiddos aged 7-13 years old and includes balance beam work, vault, uneven bars, and floor work.

The Little Gym offers courses for children 4 months to 12 years old. A Perfect Start is its program for kiddos 4 months to 3 years, Getting Rolling is for 3-6 years, and A Balanced Approach is for ages 6-12 years old.

USA Twisterz in West Caldwell offers a free trial class to get a feel of the programs offered. This female-owned gymnastics studio offers three levels of classes with three tiers each. Even students as young as six months old can learn more about movement in the Tiny Twisters class. Students of all groups are welcome in the different classes, and the school-age program can go up to 12 years of age and older.
