Christina Andino, LCSW, MSW founded Mountains Therapy as a casual, judgment-free zone to elevate mental well-being through therapy and counseling. Starting therapy is a big step and it is normal to feel nervous, excited, and uncertain before the first session.

To make the first session easier, the Mountains Therapy team recommends reflecting on what you want to get out of therapy. Write down any goals or specific concerns to address. Make sure to fill out any necessary paperwork and double-check the time and location before your first appointment.
