One of the best parts about this time of year is all of the scary + spooky activities to do locally — and a brand new Halloween attraction has joined the local New Jersey scene. A popular Los Angeles Halloween attraction is opening its second location, located at 101 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, NJ. Haunt O’ Ween is an immersive Halloween experience presented by Experiential Supply Co. and Fever. Visitors can expect dance offs, a Pumpkin Tunnel, Moonlight Magic (where you can make your own potions), $1 million dollars’ worth of candy, and so many more spooky elements. The family-friendly adventure opened at the end of September and will remain open to the public through October 31st. Read on to learn more about Haunt O’ Ween in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Expanding to NJ

Haunt ‘O Ween originated in Los Angeles in 2020 and is put on by Experiential Supply, an award-winning company that is known for turning films such as “IT: Chapter 2,” “The LEGO Movie,” and “Smallfoot,” into a large-scale, immersive experience. After becoming successful in L.A., the team decided to bring the experience to Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ for the first time.

“New Jersey was perfect for multiple reasons. The obvious one is that I grew up in Wall Township, so I knew the area well, but really, the main driver was the fact that we get really excited about bringing large scale productions to the markets that don’t necessarily see them all the time,” Jasen Smith, Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Experiential Supply Co., told Montclair Girl exclusively.

“We love what Bell Works is at its core and the sense of community it has where people work, play, entertain, exercise, and hang out. Our experience and model of all ages-themed entertainment aligned really well with what [the community] is doing,” he continued.

Haunt O’ Ween has taken over 200,000 square feet at 101 Crawfords Corner Road, and it’s a replica of the Los Angeles version.

“We’ve gone from six worlds to nine brand new environments flooded with more interactivity, immersive moments, performances, and fun,” Jasen explained, referring to the expansion from the previous year. “I’d like to think we’ve created one of the most unique and well-rounded Halloween experiences you will find in the country.”
