About Ladurée
Known as being the inventor of the French-style tea room, Ladurée was founded in 1862 by Louis-Ernest Ladurée — who first opened up a bakery in the Madeleine neighborhood of France. Over 160 years later, Ladurée has expanded to over 20 countries worldwide, with locations in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The United States storefronts are located in New York, Washington D.C., Maryland, Florida, and California — the Short Hills location will be the first in New Jersey.
As far as the shop’s offerings, Ladurée is best known for its decadent macarons, with a variety of flavors including classics like chocolate, lemon, raspberry, and almond to more unique flavors like blackcurrant violet, coffee, Marie-Antionette tea, and passionfruit. You can find the full list of flavors here, and the macarons also come in gift sets.

Aside from macarons, Ladurée also serves up a selection of other treats. Newer to the lineup are Eugénie’s — a gluten-free biscuit and a “luscious core” wrapped in a crispy chocolate shell. The Eugénie’s come in eight flavors, ranging from chocolate and vanilla to pistachio and rose.
On the chocolate and candy side, Ladurée serves up a variety of chocolates, chocolate bars, marshmallows, candied fruit jellies, and sugared almonds. Also on the menu are various teas, jams, honey, cakes, and biscuits, along with merch items like recipe books, tote bags, and almond-scented candles, among other things.
