An unexpected perk of living in the Garden State is that you never know when you’ll next run into a celebrity. Whether it’s the cast of RHONJ or the latest Hollywood project, it seems like A-listers are constantly popping up. Actor, rapper, philanthropist, and entrepreneur 50 Cent will be in Clifton, New Jersey, in August. 50 Cent will be at Stew Leonard’s Wine + Spirits, located at 467 Allwood Road in Clifton, for a bottle-signing event for his cognac and champagne brands. Who is 50 Cent?
50 Cent is the stage name of Curtis James Jackson III, who was born on July 6th, 1975, and raised in the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York. Most widely known for his music career, the rapper rose to fame in 2003 with the release of his first full album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which sold 6 million copies within its first year. Since then, he has amassed 14 Grammy nominations and one win for best rap duo/performance alongside Eminem and Dr. Dre.

The entertainer also has credits as an actor and producer on movies and TV shows, including Power, Southpaw, and Den of Thieves, and is the author of several autobiographical and crime thriller books. 50 Cent is also an entrepreneur with a business portfolio that includes G-Unit Clothing Company, a collaboration with Marc Ecko, the founder of Ecko Unltd., and Sire Spirits, a Hoboken-based company that produces Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne.
What to Expect at the Signing Event
“50 Cent has become one of our most anticipated guest appearances! At the event, guests will be able to purchase merchandise and signed bottles of Branson and Le Chemin du Roi, while supplies last, and snag a photo with 50 Cent. Stew Leonard’s is also offering four pre-purchase bottle packages ranging from $250 to $1,500. Each package includes a photo opportunity with the rapper for up to two guests and at least one signed bottle. According to the Stew Leonard’s website, personal memorabilia and bottle personalization will not be available due to time constraints.
- Bronze Fan Package – $199: Includes signed bottles of Branson Phantom, Branson Royal, and Branson VSOP, plus a professional photo with 50 Cent and a $10 Stew Leonard’s gift card.
- Silver Fan Package – $399: Includes signed bottles of Branson Phantom, Branson Royal, Branson VSOP, and Branson XO, along with a professional photo and a $20 gift card.
- Gold VIP Package – $899: Includes two signed bottles of Le Chemin du Roi Champagne (Brut and Rosé), four Branson Cognacs, a professional photo, early entry, access to a dedicated VIP check-in and signing line, an exclusive VIP credential and lanyard, and a $35 gift card.
- VIP Ultra Platinum Package – $1,499: The top-tier experience includes two bottles each of Le Chemin du Roi Brut, Le Chemin du Roi Rosé, Branson Phantom, Branson Royal, Branson VSOP, and Branson XO, all signed. Guests also receive the earliest entry, access to a private VIP hospitality area, a champagne and caviar reception, placement in the first photo group, a VIP credential and lanyard, expedited check-in, and a $50 Stew Leonard’s gift card.

“This is expected to be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year,” said the Stew Leonard’s website. “Don’t miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable experience!”
While this marks the rapper’s first public appearance at the Clifton location, it isn’t his first visit to a Stew Leonard’s store. 50 Cent signed bottles at multiple Stew Leonard’s locations in 2024, including Yonkers and Paramus. Stew Leonard’s Clifton location opened in May 2024. The 56,000 square-foot store was the grocery retailer’s eighth location in the tri-state area, and its second in New Jersey.
