Thursday Group Runs + Walks at Fleet Feet Montclair
Join a friendly social group for walkers, run/walkers, and runners. Attendees will meet at Fleet Feet Montclair and do a 3-mile loop (approximately 30-60 minutes) in that neighborhood. Some people go more. Some go less.
Pilatte: A Women-Only Pilates + Coffee Spot Coming to Upper Montclair
The Essex County area is already full of delicious coffee spots — and we always welcome a new one — but there's a new spot coming to town that is looking to combine java with fitness. Enter Pilatte, a brand new reformer and mat pilates studio that will also feature a coffee bar for locals. Pilatte is opening in Upper Montclair this summer, and we're sharing everything we know so far about the new studio that's just for women. The Details
Pilatte was designed just for women, and provides both pilates and the option to purchase coffee drinks before and after a workout. The location has yet to be revealed, but we do know the studio is opening in Upper Montclair. The Pilatte team shared with The Montclair Girl that construction should be done by the end of week.

The fitness studio will host reformer and mat pilates classes, all of which are for women-only. The spot is also a Hijabi-friendly space, per its Instagram bio. Coffee drinks will be available for purchase at the space before and after classes, making it a one-stop-shop for both a cup of java and a good workout.
"It will be a safe space for women to workout and have fun," the Pilatte team told MG. "To build a community and meet other women, enjoy working out, and get the luxury of purchasing coffee and drinks before and after workout classes."
An exact opening date is not known as of this writing, but we do know that Pilatee is looking to open this June, per Instagram. This post will be updated with any further comments.
