Meet Manny, Sandy, and Ortley, three 5-month old puppies that are looking for their forever home! All three are currently being held at WISE Animal Rescue and are available for adoption. Manny
Name: Manasquan, “Manny” for short
Breed: English Bulldog Pitbull mix
Weight: Will be about 45-50 lbs when fully grown
Age: 5 months old
Ideal Home: Manny would love any home that will provide him with unconditional love. He is young so he will need some basic puppy manners but he is very easily trainable. He has an easy-going temperament and will become anyone’s best friend.
Kids: Yes, above the age of 6
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Unknown
Crate-Trained: Yes, he enjoys spending time in his crate
House-Trained: No, but he’s working on it
Other Training: He is treat motivated and a great listener. He will need to be taught some puppy manners but he is very easily corrected.

Leash Manners: Manny walks perfectly on the leash!
Personality: Manny is the man! Who wouldn’t want to hang out with this guy? He will happily watch TV with you (animal planet is his favorite) or go on an adventure! He loves to snuggle as close as he can next to you. You would be surprised how small he can curl up into a ball. He enjoys playing with his doggy foster siblings and going on walks. He LOVES everyone he meets and is so sweet.
Why he was brought to the rescue: Manny was rescued from an overcrowded, high kill shelter in North Carolina. He had Demodex mange and was found with barely any fur and horrible scabs. Since receiving the care he desperately needed, he has been doing great! His fur is mostly all grown back and he can’t wait to find his forever home!

Sandy
Name: Sandy
Breed: Pitbull mix
Weight: Will be about 50 lbs when fully grown
Age: 5 months old
Ideal Home: Sandy would love a household that will shower her in love and play with her! She is still so young so she will need continued training to make sure she becomes a polite lady as an adult.
Kids: Yes, above the age of 6
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Unknown
Crate-Trained: Yes, she is perfectly content in her crate and sleeps in there without a peep
House-Trained: No, but he’s working on it
Other Training: Sandy will need an owner who will work on correcting some puppy manners. She is very easily trainable and treat-motivated.
Leash Manners: Sandy will pull at the beginning of the walk but she eventually settles down and walks nicely.
Personality: Sandy is the sweetest girl! She is laid back, but always ready for an adventure! She loves to explore in the yard with her doggy siblings. Her tail seems to never stop wagging and when she is very excited, she will show you her wrinkly smile! There has not been a person or dog Sandy hasn’t liked and vice versa!

Breed: Pitbull mix
Weight: Will be about 55 lbs when fully grown
Age: 5 months old
Ideal Home: Ortley would love a household that will shower her in love and play with her all day long! She is still so young so she will need continued training to make sure she becomes a polite lady as an adult.
Kids: Yes, above the age of 6

House-Trained: No, but he’s working on it! She typically will sniff around a particular area before having an accident.
Other Training: Ortley is very smart and treat-motivated. She has already mastered “sit”, “down” and responds well when told “no.” She will need an owner who will work on teaching her some puppy manners but she is very easily corrected!
Leash Manners: Ortley will pull at the beginning of the walk but she eventually settles down and walks nicely.
Personality: Look into Ortley’s brown and blue eyes and then get ready to be showered in kisses! Ortley is the sweetest, friendliest pup! She greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail. She is the perfect mix of calm and playful. She loves to play with toys, specifically with bene bones or squeaky toys. Ortley is happy-go-lucky and she will flash you her infamous smile to show her appreciation for you!
