Celebrating the holidays in Essex County is even more magical when you get to be with the local community for a winter celebration, which is exactly what the Montclair Business Improvement District (BID) is planning this year. To celebrate the most wonderful time of year, guests can expect kids crafts, live music, and special guests like Santa + Mrs. Claus and Elsa from Frozen. Shopping, Fun, + Live Music
Montclair Center BID is partnering with The Wellmont Theater and Pharmacie Kitchen + Bar to celebrate the holidays all season long. Starting on November 26th at 12PM for Shop Small Saturday, the Winter Wonderland will kick off with live music and special guests at the Wellmont Arts Plaza, located at 5 Seymour Street in Montclair.
Following the Shop Small Saturday event, every Saturday through Saturday, December 17th, Montclair Center BID is hosting weekly activities + character guests including Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Elsa, a unicorn princess, and a hula hooping elf. Family-friendly activities featured during the Saturday events include kids’ crafts, Christmas carol singers, raffles to enter, selfie stations for festive holiday pictures, and fun activity booths sponsored by local non-profit organizations. Vanguard Theater and Jazz House Kids will also be contributing to the festival with live music + performances.
A shopping map + local gift guide will be available at the Montclair Center BID booth. Be sure to use the hashtag #MontclairCenter while shopping and eating out to help bring awareness to the participating local businesses this holiday season. Plus, if you didn’t gram it, did it really happen?
In effort to further spread holiday cheer, Winter Wonderland participants will get two hours of free metered parking, compliments of the Mayor and Town Council.
