New to the Montclair scene, Vanilla Heaven, a European-style bakery opened its doors in February at 342 Bloomfield Avenue. Read on to learn about this new bakery in town.
The shop specializes in baked goods and pastries that would be found in bakeries and cafes throughout Europe. The in-house cook has over 25 years of experience baking everything from delicious sweets to whipping up savory meals, so whether you’re in need of a quick breakfast snack or looking for an elegant cake, Vanilla Heaven is a one-stop-shop. All of the desserts are made-to-order with high-quality ingredients.
The Menu

Patrons can stop into the store at any point and find decadent pre-cut mini cakes of all flavors and textures. The “all-day” menu features mini cakes such as banana heaven, chocolate trilogy, red velvet, white chocolate mousse, strawberry heaven, Raffaella, and pineapple heaven.

Other desserts in the all-day menu feature mousse dessert cups, perfect to dig into when you’re on-the-go, as well as strawberry, banana, and apple turnovers.

Other stand-out items include crumb cake, jumbo cupcakes, meringues, eclairs, tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate chip brownies.

When you need something special for a big occasion like a birthday, anniversary, or graduation, the specialty cake section of the menu is where you’ll find it. Patrons must fill out a form online to pre-order their cakes and desserts.

The bakery also offers milkshakes, smoothies, lemonade, and coffee. Catering and Wholesale are available.
