Sweet Trail Bakery specializes in vegan desserts, shakes, and coffees. As a mobile cafe, Sweet Trail gained popularity by participating in various food festivals throughout the New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut areas. The Bloomfield location is the first official storefront for the bakery, is open Monday through Friday, 7AM to 5PM and Saturday + Sunday 8AM to 5PM.

Though Sweet Trail Bakery’s website is still under development, we can expect this location’s menu to be chock-full of delicious vegan offerings. Past menu items have included cinnamon buns, banana bread, seasonal cupcakes, a cotton candy shake, and a slew of dessert-flavored coffees. Patrons can also expect a gluten-free menu, though not specified yet.

Based on previous menus, prices are likely to range from $3-$9, with shakes being the most expensive item. Prices have yet to be confirmed.

Sweet Trail joins a host of other vegan bakeries in the Essex County area, including Yellow Rose Vegan Bakery & Cafe in Maplewood, How Delish HD in West Orange, and Plum Bakery in Montclair.
