OddFellows Ice Cream Co.
A bold, bright red display reading “Odd Fellows coming soon to Montclair” was recently spotted by one of our writers at 450 Bloomfield Avenue, signaling that OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is officially on its way. The NYC-based viral ice cream shop has been making waves as it expands into New Jersey, with another location also slated to open in Hoboken in the near future. Known for its small-batch approach and over-the-top creativity, OddFellows has been churning out scoops since opening its first shop in Brooklyn in 2013. The brand has created more than 500 flavors, mixing unexpected combinations with elevated takes on the classics.

Ju-Ichi Japanese Restaurant
Signage on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair is also teasing another new arrival, Ju-Ichi Japanese Restaurant. Our team reached out and got word that the Montclair location will be at 512 Bloomfield Avenue. This upcoming spot already has roots in New Jersey, with an existing location in Morristown.
The concept behind Ju-Ichi centers on creating a memorable dining experience, blending traditional Japanese dishes with more innovative, chef-driven creations. With a strong focus on bold + fresh flavors, each dish is crafted using high-quality ingredients to deliver something that feels both elevated and approachable.
