Of course, it’s always best to order directly from the restaurant when possible to avoid them having to pay additional third-party fees. Read on for an ever-growing list of Montclair restaurants that will deliver directly to your front door.

Pizza has been a staple delivery option since delivery started, but regular pizza is no comparison to this wood-fired brick oven pizza. But, if pizza isn’t a unanimous decision in your dinner selection, there’s something for everyone with the pasta, entrees, sandwich menus, and more.

With eight different locations around New Jersey, Ani Ramen has made a name for itself in the ramen game for a reason. With a menu full of ramen, bao, large plates, don duri bowls, and sides, there is a variety of food for everyone.

Two words: Dessert Dumplings. Of course, Elyssia’s has a lot of savory dumpling options (both potstickers + boiled), soup dumplings, wontons, and other assorted Chinese appetizers and entrees as well.

This punny name is just the start of pleasant surprises as Empanada or Nada. Cooking up both sweet and savory empanadas, all empanadas are baked and stay fresh during delivery. The toughest choice will be to get 6, 12, or 24.

Dinner has been made, served, eaten, and yet something is still missing. It’s dessert — it’s always dessert. That’s where Guerriero comes in. With more options than you could think of in hard ice cream, gelato, and Italian ices, there is no better way to end even a home-cooked meal.

Hunan Taste | 4 Alvin Place

On top of the full Chinese food menu, you’ve come to expect, Hunan Taste also has an entire menu of traditional dishes. Plus, the house specialties include a half or entire peking duck. Originating in NYC Chinatown in the 1970s, take-out from this restaurant is as classic as it gets.

Java Love Coffee Roasting Co. |244 Bellevue Avenue and 49 Church Street

Java Love

Java Coffee Love is a women-owned coffee roasting company that serves up a fresh cup of Joe, from drip to espresso as well as baked treats. There is organic light roast coffee available. The team only works with coffee farmers who are Fair Trade certified as well as being members of the Rainforest Alliance. The coffee grains can be purchased online.

Montclair Brewery | 101 Walnut Street

Montclair Brewery

The husband and wife duo formally established their business in 2014 and then moved this endeavor out of their home and into the microbrewery and tasting room space in 2018. Visit the brewery in person, opt for curbside pick-up, delivery, or grab some friends for a virtual tasting event.

Marcel | 631 1/2 Valley Road

The combination of baked goods, breakfast, bagels, sandwiches, soups, salads, and hummus plates would be enough, but add in the smoothies as well and Marcel will be your go-to for multiple meals a day. This Mediterranean bakery and kitchen deliver exactly what you need for breakfast and lunch.

Mesob | 515 Bloomfield Avenue

Mesob

Mesob serves up Ethiopian food that is appealing to vegans and meat-lovers alike. The sampler platters come with over six different types of meat or veggies per order served with injera (a sourdough bread), and delivery is a cinch as each item comes in its own separate container. Plus, Ethiopian food is meant to be eaten with your hands {which is half the fun}, so it’s one less utensil to clean up after.

Ray’s Luncheonette | 99 Walnut Street

Ray’s Luncheonette has been serving the Montclair and surrounding neighborhoods for over 40 years. Patrons can find all of the diner classics here.

Raymond’s |28 Church Street

Raymond’s

The best way to avoid the mad rush that is Raymond’s is to get it sent directly to your house. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all staples at this American eatery. With breakfast available all day, the toughest decision will be what to order off the extensive menu.

Red Eye Cafe | 94 Walnut Street

Red Eye Cafe can sometimes be tough to get a table, but easy when the cafe brings it to the one in your kitchen. The breakfast and lunch menus are complemented by the coffee and small-batch brews.

Salbuen | 97 Walnut Street

This local cafe and market has organic farm-to-table meat, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. With breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus available, patrons can even check out exactly which local farms the ingredients come from right on the website.

This Brazilian eatery serves brunch, lunch, and dinner and is 100% gluten-free. The whole menu is farm to table — and now directly to your door. Did we mention the decor is stunning?!

SLA Thai | 596 Valley Road

Luckily, the new location hasn’t affected the food or delivery, and the Thai food is just as delicious as ever. Though the website recommends the pad thai, the full brunch, lunch, and dinner menu has plenty of options. 

Sweet Kitchen | 533 Bloomfield Avenue

Sweet Kitchen

Sweet Kitchen’s already stellar bakery and brunch menus are only complimented by the smoothie and hot beverage selections – all of which are available for delivery through Seamless. The bakery hosts all the pies, pastries, and croissants you could want, and the sandwiches come on the same homemade croissants. 

Tacoria | 367 Bloomfield Avenue

With 6 different bases, including burritos, tacos, and bowls (and Nutella nachos, because why not), this “build your own” Mexican-style restaurant has something for everyone. It even includes both fully vegan and kids menus.

Tamasha: Modern Indian Dining | 215 Glenridge Avenue

If you haven’t found your go-to Indian takeout spot yet, add this new one to the list. Tamasha opened in February 2021 and is already making a name for itself in the local Indian food game. With a full menu including over 12 different naan bread, you’ll want to eat this one at home so you can crash on your couch feeling full immediately after.

The Salad House | 18 South Fullerton Avenue

For a healthier alternative with delivery, The Salad House has you covered. One of five locations, The Salad House stays true to its name serving up salads, wraps, and other healthier options. Patrons can choose one of the premade options, or create your own.

Tinga | 215 Bellevue Avenue

Including free chips + salsa with each order directly through the website, this fresh Mexican restaurant has all of the classics, including burritos, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and wraps. There are also Beyond Meat options for vegetarian and vegan customers.

Toros | 594 Valley Road

With locations in Montclair, Patterson, and Clifton, this Turkish restaurant will bring a taste of the Himalaya Mountains right to your doorstep. Toros serves traditional Turkish entrees, hot and cold appetizers, and kebabs for a real, authentic feel.

TS Ma’s | 199 Bellevue Avenue

TS Ma’s Chinese food has always had a prominent delivery and take-out, so the delivery is down pat. A “Best of Essex” winner, the food delivers just as fresh as eating it in the shop.

Even with Montclair dining opening back up and the weather allowing for outdoor dining again, it’s so nice to have a bit of takeout driven straight to your door.
