All runners must check in in front of Montclair Brewery at 101 Walnut Street before the race. The course for the run is 1/2 a mile, starting on Depot Square heading north. Runners (or walkers) will stay straight for approximately .2 of a mile before making a left onto Sylvan Place, another left onto Forest Street, and a final left onto Walnut Street before passing Montclair Brewery and a left back onto Depot Square to complete the loop. To run the full mile, the loop will be completed twice. For a visual, see the route on Strava

  • 5:45PM – Men’s Open Mile – Heat 1 (Goal Times: 6:59 – 12:00)

About Toni’s Kitchen

Toni’s Kitchen was founded in 1982 by a group of parishioners from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, whose simple mission was to “serve our neighbors in need.” They borrowed the idea from another local soup kitchen, in which all guests in search of a hot meal would be served restaurant-style rather than the traditional buffet lines seen elsewhere.

Toni’s Kitchen got its name from the head chef at the time, Antoinette “Toni” Green, who was often described as “spirit-filled and amazing”. Since then, Toni’s Kitchen has expanded with the help of the community and volunteers. Their goal today is to ensure reliable access to healthy food for the residents of West Orange, Montclair and Bloomfield. Toni’s Kitchen provides food for local residents in need while respecting their dignity, improving health, and fostering independence. They have over 2,000 volunteers to help fulfill this mission.
