Fabricio DeAlmeida (Fab) is a master stylist with 16 years of experience, while Juliana Stravato (Jules) is a master colorist with 10 years behind the chair. Fab and Jules met in cosmetology school and have been best friends ever since. While they worked in different salons after graduation, they knew that the ultimate goal was to work together. Two years ago, they finally joined forces and brought their talents to Montclair, which they were drawn to because of its diversity.
When you step into the salon, you can expect one-on-one treatment focusing on luxurious self-care. “When you spend $500 or more in a salon, it is important that you have the service you deserve,” Jules shared with The Montclair Girl team.

The salon has a full coffee bar and serves champagne, plus they take clients by appointment only. While they usually only have two clients at a time, occasionally, there is a slight overlap. However, the services are always tailored to the client’s needs.
“There is no such thing as a one-hour highlight,” said Jules. “We only use Goldwell products, which are some of the most expensive on the market, and they really make a difference.”
Fab and Jules Salon is a testament to their friendship, shared passion for hair, and unwavering dedication to each other and their craft. “We had established careers, so opening our salon was a huge step. We found a location, signed a lease… and then immediately the pandemic hit,” shared Fab.
Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Fab and Jules were able to use the downtime to create a salon in their vision. Jules added, “We had a lot of construction to do on the space, but we were able to make it ours.”

When you book online, you can reserve a time with a friend or plan a girl’s night out. The salon caters to both men and women, and everyone is welcome. Fab made sure to mention, “Come by and see the place. We’re always ready to greet people. You can also send pictures with questions to us on Instagram, and we are the ones who will answer.”
