While it has a smaller selection because of its size, it always has the essential garden staples you’re looking for — including compost, mulch, and fertilizer. Plus, in the fall, it’s a great place to stop for classic autumn decor.

This Black- and women-owned business in Montclair came together through the heart and soul of two best friends. Their love of plants is evident in the display and care for each little green item. The shop is gorgeous, decorative, and a great spot for browsing next time you go downtown.

This plant shop owned by childhood friends, Nicky and Carter, Lazlo Plants offers a unique plant shopping experience for plant-lovers of all skill levels, filled with familiar favorites and one-of-a-kind rarities.  You can shop their plants online or go in person at their Montclair-based shop.

Now, this is a fun garden center. It has a wide selection of unique and pristine indoor plants. Orchids line the aisles along with faux plants — always fun —and many outdoor decorative items. But we think the best part is looking through the greenhouse.

Easy to get to with tons of plants and produce, Richfield Farms delivers the planting goods. Its pre-made flower baskets and unique garden ornaments are a highlight when visiting.
