St James Episcopal Church 581 Valley Road Upper Montclair is pleased to announce the Spring Concert of the 2024 Chamber Music Series at 4 PM on April 28th. Works by Ravel, Thompson and Williams will be performed by The Rose Quartet and guest Randall Wolfgang (principal oboist NY City Opera).
Currently in residence at Montclair State University, The Rose Quartet was formed in 2022, and is comprised of violinists Gabriel Anker and Liana Branscome, violist Rachel O’Connor, and cellist Alonso Restrepo Cardozo.
Randall Wolfgang is recognized internationally and held the position of principal oboist of The New York City Ballet Orchestra for 37 years. A Grammy Award winner, he performed with The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and in Aspen Music Festivals in the US and abroad.
Tickets are free. All donations will benefit the Montclair High School Transition Program Special Arts Project.
