As of 9PM on Tuesday, June 10th, the AP has called the Republican primary for candidate Jack Citarelli. Though only 28% of votes had been counted at that time, the AP shared its reasoning as such: "When the AP declared Ciattarelli the winner, he had a nearly 45-point lead over his closest competitor. Ciattarelli led in all 10 of the counties that had released at least some vote, by margins ranging from 13 to 70 points. Those margins were large enough that the other four candidates -- none of whom had more than 15% -- could plausibly make up the gap in the votes left to be counted."
As of 9PM on Tuesday June 10th, the AP has called the Democratic primary for candidate Mickie Sherrill. At the time the AP called the race, 42% of votes had been counted. The AP shared its reasoning as such: "At the time AP called the race, Sherrill had established a sizable lead over all challengers, thanks in part to her strong performance in votes cast prior to Election Day. The other five candidates were clustered between 10 and 20%. With the second-place candidate not leading in a single county -- and even losing his home county to Sherrill -- there was no path for anyone to overtake her."
