Dogs: Stan gets along with most dogs, both large + small. He also loves female dogs.
Cats: No
Crate-Trained: Yes
House Trained: Working on it.
Leash Manners: Stan walks well on a leash + enjoys long walks — he participated in 2022 Nutley’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
Personality: The best way to describe Stan is a stubborn old man mixed with a toddler. He acts set in his ways, but if you don’t pay attention to him, he will tear up your favorite throw pillow. Stan has a heart of gold and loves people; he doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. He thrives on routine, consistency, + keeping busy. He will do best with an experienced owner + a trained dog who he can learn from.
Why she/he was brought to the rescue: Stan was found as a stray in December 2021. He has since been adopted + returned twice after only days, without time to decompress + learn how to be a good boy. He was returned from a week’s stay in a foster home after completing his training program before he could put his freshly learned skills to use. Stan has worked so long and hard on his manners + needs an experienced and patient owner to give him a home.
