There are a variety of spa locations in the Northern New Jersey area to serve all of our pampering needs, regardless of the time of year, so of course, we had to make a list. Not even being dramatic, but Crystal Springs is a resort for everyone. Here’s why: There’s a spa + sauna situation, a gym, two restaurants, a bar, golf, outdoor activities, and the coolest part of all — a biosphere pool, whose atmospheric temp is set to 85+ degrees Fahrenheit. When purchased online, the weekday pass is $59, and the weekend pass is $69, which are great rates for a day spent sauna hopping. The baths are birthday suit-only, so just an FYI before you go, but we bet your bottom (literally) you’ll never get a better Korean body scrub treatment than at this spot.

In the middle of a shopping plaza, you’ll find a hidden-in-plain-sight oasis set back with 30,000 square feet of spa amenities and multiple sauna huts. Island Spa & Sauna has become a favorite for many NJ residents due to its location, saunas, and baths (which, you do have to be in your birthday suit for, FYI – VERY authentic).
