The DollyMoo Story
DollyMoo was created by sisters Nicci Silva and Amy Rivera back in 2010. What started as an in-home activity of experimenting and creating products for themselves quickly turned into something bigger. Soon they were selling their creations at farmers’ markets and festivals thanks to the support of their family and friends. The hardworking sisters were soon fortunate enough to pursue their artistry full-time and opened the DollyMoo brick-and-mortar storefront in Montclair.
The name “DollyMoo” is a term of endearment meaning “my doll” coined by their Greek grandmother, affectionately known as Yiayia. DollyMoo’s creation was influenced by Yiayia’s remarkable life and endless outpouring of love. Nicci and Amy believe that their grandmother’s spirit has guided them on this journey.
