A Plant-Based Eatery is Opening in Montclair This May

Plant-based eaters, rejoice! worldFlats is a healthy, plant-based, sustainable eatery opening in Montclair next month. The eatery’s mission is to pay homage to the planet by showcasing different cultures through its food. As the title indicates, it specializes in flatbreads of different flavors. Read on to learn more about what to discover at worldFlats in Montclair this May at 58 Church Street.

Owners Nvair and Zareh Beylerian explained that back in 2017, the pair made the choice to become vegetarian and eat plant-based, not only for the obvious health benefits but for its global impact. “If people around the world made the commitment to eat at least one plant-based meal a day, we could make a significant impact on reversing the effects of global climate change,” they said in a statement via the website.

worldFlats already had locations in Ridgewiid and Paramus – indicating the popularity of its food. The vibe of the two locations is casual and straightforward.

As for the menu, it consists of flatbreads, salads, soups, and a few desserts. There are 11 flatbreads to choose from including the Roma, Mandarin, Nile, Aleppo, and Jersey – all inspired by their geographical areas. For soups, think carrot ginger, and roasted vegetables. The salads come in four styles with add-on protein options.

The key is the locally-sourced in-season ingredients to keep the menu items as fresh and healthy as possible.

worldFlats is opening its doors in Montclair on May 4th.
