Montclair’s Annual Walnut Street Fair Happening on 5/3

The North Jersey area is home to a wide range of festivals and community events, especially during the busy spring and summer seasons. One annual event Montclair locals look forward to is the Walnut Street Fair, returning this weekend on May 3rd, 2026. Hosted by the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, this beloved street fair features a full day of activities, local vendors, food, and entertainment for all ages. The free-to-attend festival will feature over 250 vendors and food trucks serving a variety of food and drinks, including favorites from local Montclair businesses. Attendees can also enjoy live music from five groups performing on the main stage throughout the day, along with plenty of free, kid-friendly activities for the whole family.

Through hands-on projects and partnerships, the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. strives to build a better community by promoting education, literacy, the arts, and health + wellness for children at risk in the Essex County area.
