From family-friendly parades to thrilling bar crawls, there’s no shortage of things to do to embrace the St. Paddy’s spirit. Kids’ St. Patrick’s Day Brunch | 98 Kingsland Road, Clifton
Saturday, March 7th + Sunday, March 8th | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This kids’ St. Patrick’s Day celebration at The Shannon Rose will feature a special brunch menu, live dancers, Irish music, a DJ dance party, face painting, cookie decorating, a kids’ parade, and a Leprechaun Costume Contest. The winner of the costume contest will receive free kids’ meals for a year.

Newton St. Patrick’s Day Parade | 219 Spring Street, Newton

Newton’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will include floats, fire trucks, animals, live music, and more in celebration of Irish culture.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration | 314 Chestnut Street, Roselle Park
Saturday, March 7th | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Roselle Park’s Casano Community Center is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with live music, free food, and homages to Irish tradition. Attendance is free and open to all ages.
Nutley St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Intersection of Harrison Avenue + Evergreen Street, Nutley
Saturday, March 7th | 1:00 PM
Organized by the Nutley Irish American Association, this St. Patrick’s Day parade will feature locals of Irish descent from Nutley and nearby communities. It will begin at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Evergreen Street and end in front of John Walker Middle School.
Morristown St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl | 36 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown
Saturday, March 7th | 1:00 PM
This bar crawl will include access to several local bars, drink specials, St. Patrick’s Day-themed cocktails, food deals, and an after-party. A complete list of participating bars has not been released, but the crawl will begin at Horseshoe Tavern, located at 36 Speedwell Avenue. Participants must be at least 21 years old, and tickets must be presented for an admission wristband.
DIY Clover Charcuterie Board | One Greenwood Avenue, Suite 101, Montclair
Sunday, March 8th | 5:00 PM
This arts + crafts event will allow participants to make their own St. Patrick’s Day-themed charcuterie board. It can be filled with the participant’s choice of mosaic elements, including beads, shells, flowers, and crushed glass. The event is BYOB, open to ages 18 and up, and the venue offers free parking.
St. Patrick’s Day Party | 40 Maple Street, Summit
Thursday, March 12th | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
St. Patrick School is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party for parents with food, drinks, and raffles. It will be hosted at Summit Elks Lodge and is for adults only. Attendees must fill out a payment form to attend, which can be found here.
91st Annual Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade | 25 Lafayette Street, Newark

Newark’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will be a heritage-focused celebration of Irish tradition and family. The parade will begin in front of the Prudential Center and follow a route that goes through Mulberry Street, Raymond Boulevard, Washington Street, and Washington Park.
Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade | 200 South Street, Morristown

This parade is a family-friendly event that will highlight Morris County’s connections to Irish heritage. It will begin at Morristown Town Hall and end at Morristown High School.
Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Intersection of Morris Avenue + Jeanette Avenue, Union
Saturday, March 14th | 1:00 PM
Union County’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will celebrate Irish heritage with food trucks + live entertainment. It begins on the intersection of Morris Avenue and Jeanette Avenue and ends on Stuyvesant Avenue, near Centurion Union Center.
St. Patrick’s Day Sip & Paint Events | One Greenwood Avenue, Suite 101, Montclair

Sunday, March 15th | 2:00 PM
Wine & Design is hosting two sip + paint events in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The first is a ”Saint Patrick’s Shamrock Martini” sip + paint on Saturday, March 14th, which is open to ages 16 and up. On Sunday, March 15th, the venue is hosting a “One Lucky Gnome” family-friendly event open to all ages. Participants aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent with a ticket.
Both events are BYOB, and the venue offers free parking.
73rd Annual West Orange St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Intersection of Mt. Pleasant Avenue + Main Street, West Orange

The West Orange St. Patrick’s Day Parade will celebrate Irish family, faith, and tradition with music, marchers, and participating local businesses. It will begin on the corner of Mt. Pleasant Avenue and Main Street and end at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Shuttle buses will also be provided to attendees in need, with more information available here.
Cranford St. Patrick’s Day Parade | 220 Walnut Avenue, Cranford
Sunday, March 15th | 1:00 PM
The Cranford St. Patrick’s Day parade will feature marching bands, bagpipes, dancers, and an Irish heritage float designed by Cranford High School students. The parade will begin at Cranford Community Center and end right before Springfield Avenue.
Leprechaun Hunt | 1035 Fairview Lake Road, Newton
Sunday, March 15th | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
This free kids’ St. Patrick’s Day event at Fairview Lake YMCA Camps is a mystery game where participants will search for Finn O’Fairview, the camp’s mysterious leprechaun. It will include challenges and a reward once the puzzle is completed.
Ringwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade | Skyline Drive, between Fieldstone Drive + Erskine Road, Ringwood
Saturday, March 21st | 1:00 PM
Ringwood’s 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will celebrate Irish culture and feature a family celebration at St. Catherine’s Parish Center immediately after. It will include food, drinks, live dancers, and a DJ.
