Get to Know the Montclair Team
Tribeca Pediatrics is excited to become part of the Montclair community.
“We opened in Montclair, in part to respond to a need expressed by our Essex County families, who were relocating out of NYC. We also saw a need to expand our network of care towards our already-established New Jersey families, for whom our Montclair location would be more convenient and accessible. We quickly fell in love with Montclair because of the area’s many cultural attractions, good eats, and the plethora of family-friendly activities.” the practice shared with The Montclair Girl.
PNP Bridget (Bridie) Hatch and Dr. Neveen Asaad will be leading the Montclair team and bring years of experience to the new location and a shared dedication to providing the best possible care to children.
“We may be the parents, the adults, but if we listen carefully, our children will teach us more than we could ever teach them. Their curiosity, intensity, and unbiased perspectives motivate and challenge us every single day,” Bridie Hatch, PNP said.
The entire Montclair office is accepting new patients and families are invited to schedule a tour or attend an info session with the Tribeca Pediatric team before registering.

About Dr. Michel Cohen + Tribeca Pediatrics
Dr. Michel Cohen founded Tribeca Pediatrics out of his home in Lower Manhattan in 1994 with the goal of providing the best possible care to children in the community. His practice quickly became well-respected in the community and he was able to expand to different neighborhoods in NYC, Westchester, and New Jersey.
“I had a vision of building beautiful offices where kids could feel comfortable while practicing the essence of medical art: less is more,” Dr. Michel Cohen told The Montclair Girl.
The Tribeca Pediatrics team continues to follow the low-intervention approach established by Dr. Cohen. Every Tribeca Pediatrics location, including the new Montclair location, is run by a team of experienced pediatricians and caring support staff who are dedicated to providing the best possible care to all children.
“After almost thirty years of practice, my biggest reward is still visiting offices to meet with new parents and their kids. While we’ve expanded in a big way, we haven’t lost our personal touch, and that’s what makes us different,” Dr. Cohen said.
