Out Montclair’s Pride Beer Launch Party

This Sunday, Out Montclair is hosting a Pride Beer Launch Party at Montclair Brewery, located at 101 Walnut Street in Montclair, from 5:00PM-8:00PM. Attendees will not only be the first to taste the exclusive beer, but the event will reveal the winning can design — in which local NJ designers created labels representing their ‘Pride in Montclair’ for the competition. Tickets for the event are just $15 and both ticket + Pride Beer sales for the event will support Montclair Pride happening on June 11th, as well as Out Montclair’s annual programming.

Originally known as the Young Colored Women’s Christian Association, this organization was founded by African American women who came to Montclair in search of education, employment, and opportunity. As time passed, the organization not only changed its name; it joined forces with women of all backgrounds and became a prominent force in the community. For some time, the Montclair Shared Housing Association is providing this opportunity while fostering a great community.
