Lululemon in Montclair Has Closed

A staple of the Bloomfield Avenue shopping scene in MTC has quietly closed its doors. Lululemon, which was located at 520 Bloomfield Avenue, is now closed and has merged with the Willowbrook Mall location of the athletic apparel brand in Wayne. Read on for what we know about Lululemon’s closure in Montclair, New Jersey.

What We Know

On Thursday, October 5th, Instagram account @montclair.newjersey shared the news of Lululemon’s closure, saying that they “just got word that @lululemon has officially closed its doors in Montclair.”

The post went on to say that the Montclair location of Lululemon would be merging with the Willowbrook Mall location of the athletic apparel brand. The Wayne storefront is located at 1400 Willowbrook Mall Space 1580 in Wayne.

Our team stopped by the location yesterday and can confirm that the storefront at 520 Bloomfield Avenue is vacant and all traces of Lululemon are gone. Additionally,  Google redirects all searches of “Lululemon Montclair” to the Willowbrook Mall location.

Other North Jersey Lululemon locations include Short Hills, Summit, Montvale, East Rutherford, Paramus, Hoboken, and Bridgewater.

Lululemon is a high-end athletic apparel brand that sells technical apparel as well as athletic shoes and accessories for both men and women. Popular items include leggings, joggers, t-shirts and long-sleeve shirts designed for training/running, jackets, backpacks, bags, and more.
