Guerriero Gelato also recently closed its Morristown location as a part of a reorganization process, but mentioned in the post that its remaining shops in Caldwell, West Orange, and Teaneck will continue to stay open.
Guerriero Gelato is headed by Mike Guerriero, his wife Breanna, and Chris Calcano, and has a history in Northern New Jersey that dates back to 2005. The spot is known for its delicious gelato, cakes, hard ice cream, and Italian ice, and has won several awards for its gelato — including the Best Gelato in North America in 2022.
The gelato flavors here range from classic options like chocolate and vanilla chip (Stracciatella), to more unique options like tiramisu, blueberry basil, and cannoli cream. Some of the ice cream flavors include banana Oreo, cherry vanilla, and strawberry cheesecake, while Italian ice options range from cherry and blood orange to root beer and guava. The full list of flavors can be found here. As for the cakes — there are basic cake options on the website, or customers can create their own.
