The Owner
Owner and founder Eugene Onishkevich was working long hours in a New York City restaurant and had no energy to make himself a healthy dinner. After a particularly difficult night in 2011, he opened his fridge to find a green apple, half of a lemon, carrots, and celery.
Eugene realized he had everything right there to make his first-ever green juice. He felt, “full, refreshed, happy and smiling through my green juice mustache” thus inspiring him to open his very own juice spot. Since opening his first location in Verona, he has opened two more locations in Morristown and Maplewood.
The Atmosphere
Green Point is a small shop in Verona on bustling Bloomfield Avenue. The décor is modern and clean with pops of color coming from the beautiful produce used to make the shop’s nutritious juices and food products. The smell is fresh as soon as the door opens and the staff is warm, welcoming, and helpful.

All of our packaging is either compostable or recyclable. We believe that taking care of your health goes hand in hand with taking care of our beautiful planet.”
In August 2016, this caring business was set apart from other local restaurants by being the first business in Verona to be recognized as an NJ Sustainable Business by the state.

While Green Point’s known for its large cold-pressed juice selection, it also offers vegan desserts and snacks, acai bowls, superfood smoothies, high-quality organic coffees, dairy-free nut milk, and immune-booster shots.
The juicery prides itself on being 100% organic, vegan, gluten-free, Kosher, and free of refined sugars. Green Point also uses local produce when available.
Green Point’s most popular products are the juice cleanses, acai bowls, avocado toasts, and lemon-ginger shots. If you are stopping by in the morning, try the Red Eye smoothie – it’s the perfect way to wake up in the morning with cold brew coffee blended right in.
