July 16 is National Ice Cream Day, and we have the perfect treat to celebrate. Häagen-Dazs, which has two locations in the Garden State Parkway Mall, uses delectable ingredients to achieve a creamy, delicious ice cream. Located at 1 Garden State Plaza in Paramus, the ice cream franchise recently debuted its new frozen lemonades — just in time for the rest of summer. All About Häagen-Dazs at GSP
Local North Jersey resident Sid Kapurm currently owns and operates two Häagen-Dazs locations in the Garden State Parkway Mall, but is aiming to open a third location soon.
“We sell America’s favorite ice cream, milkshakes, and smoothies in the Garden State Plaza mall,” said Sid Kapurm, owner of the franchise locations. “Conveniently located in the Food Court and across from the Old Navy on the first level, we will be opening a third location on the second level across from Alo.”
Providing classic ice cream flavors, cookie cones, ice cream bars, sorbet, and other customizable options, the two locations are perfect for mall-goers and Jersey residents/visitors looking for a sweet treat.
The Häagen-Dazs Garden State Plaza franchise was started by two local foodies with a love for quality ice cream. Since their launch just two years ago, they’ve expanded to multiple locations within the mall.
“We have quickly expanded to two locations and plan to add a third in the coming months,” said Kapurm.
The duo prides itself on quality customer service and delicious menu options, from its butter cookie cone to its new frozen lemonades.
“We put our customers first,” Kapurm told The Montclair Girl. “Combined with the best ice cream in the world, it’s an unbeatable combo!”
Häagen-Dazs New Frozen Lemonades
According to Kapurm, the most popular menu item is the Dulce De Leche Dazzler, which consists of dulce de leche ice cream with bananas and warm caramel — and topped with whipped cream caramel.
The newest menu items (which we 10/10 recommend) are the new frozen lemonades: Strawberry Frozen Lemonade and Raspberry Frozen Lemonade. These refreshing, sweet yet tangy frozen drinks are bursting with flavor and are the perfect treat to cool down during the summer months.
The lemonades are made with Häagen-Dazs real-fruit, dairy-free strawberry and raspberry sorbets, chilled lemonade, and seltzer bubbles. Both drinks will be available at the two mall locations (and all Häagen-Dazs locations) through September 14th. We can’t think of a better drink to sip while shopping around the mall.

Of course, you can also stick with your usual go-to Häagen-Dazs order. The ice cream franchise provides a variety of ice cream flavors including, but not limited to, vanilla, caramel, cookies and cream, butter pecan, strawberry, dulce de leche, chocolate chip cookie dough, Belgian chocolate, peanut, rum raisin, mango, mint chocolate chip, pistachio, green tea, and many more.
There are also specialty items available, like dazzler sundaes (and you know, we’re big fans of the Cookies + Cream dazzler), milkshakes, smoothies, and frappes.
