Beyond the Boundaries “The Endless Winter” Women’s Snowboard Clinic Series at Big Snow American Dream

Big SNOW American Dream 1 American Dream Way, East Rutherford, NJ

Beyond the Boundaries will host a private session at Big Snow to extend the season. Whether guests are brand-new to the terrain park or seasoned veterans, this is a chance to shake off the dust, brush up on the basics, and master some new tricks. Guests can look forward to breakout park sessions coached by women pro snowboarders to help boost both their confidence and skills.

Chess + Coffee at Montclair Public Library

Come play chess and drink coffee at the Montclair Public Library, located at 50 South Fullerton Avenue, on Thursdays from 2PM to 4PM. Chessboards will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. This is a drop-in open play, there will be no guided instruction.

Kids Meditation at Houss Freya

During this Kids Meditation, attendees will do a clearing of energy, guided meditation and sound healing. This group is open to kids and one guardian per child. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite meditation crystal. For those who don't have one, there will be crystals to borrow.

This beginner workshop covers the essentials: interface walkthrough (canvas, tools, menus), essential gestures (undo/redo, zoom, etc.), and core tools: brushes, colors, eraser, layers. Learn to work with layers (add, merge, opacity), master color selection + palettes, and explore basic brush techniques (shading, texture) and quick effects (alpha lock, clipping masks, gradients).

Gotham FC’s Pride Match at Sports Illustrated Stadium

Gotham FC will kick off the celebration with a drag brunch from 10:30AM–12:30PM at CrossBar on the plaza level of Sports Illustrated Stadium, with entertainment from New York queens Chelsea Piers and Mariyea. RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Jan Sport will perform the National anthem before the start of the match, and three-time WNBA champion, Olympic gold medalist, and New York Liberty power forward Breanna Stewart will light the ceremonial pregame torch.

Fitzgerald’s 5K Lager Run + The Nipper Two Kilometer Run

The Fitzgerald’s Lager Run takes place on June 8th in Glen Ridge, a week after the Montclair Run.  This year’s race will be the 19th running of this popular event, which is produced by the Glen Ridge Community Fund.
