Watchung Park + Plaza Mapmaking Workshop at Watchung Park

On  May 4th at 10:00 am, the Judy Weston Garden @ Watchung Park is hosting a  Walk and Wander workshop.  Individuals and families are invited to join illustrator Elly Otharsson, in newly discovering a familiar Watchung Park and Plaza area and charting a favorite path. Participants will learn the basics of illustrated map making, explore the Watchung Park and Plaza area, and create their own unique maps and icons under Elly’s guidance.  No special artistic training needed — just a curiosity in connecting to your surroundings.
