A New Jersey summer is not complete without seeing fireworks at least once or twice. With the Fourth of July less than a month away, it’s important to know all the spots you can go for a spectacular light show right here in Northern New Jersey. And yes, there are tons of spots in around the Garden State to get your fireworks fix for the summer. Keep reading for a guide to all the spots to enjoy fireworks in Northern New Jersey for this 4th of July.

Allendale

Allendale 4th of July | 10505 Learning Lane, Allendale

Friday July 4th | Starting at 11AM

Starting at 11AM, there will be activities in the park including food vendors, a car show, a dunk tank, live music, a petting zoo, and more. Fireworks will begin at 10:15PM. Learn more here.

Bloomfield + Montclair

Bloomfield/Montclair | Brookdale Park, Watchung Avenue, Bloomfield

Wednesday, July 2nd | 7:30PM

The band, The Infernos will be performing at Brookdale Park in Montclair + Bloomfield. The performance will be followed by a fireworks show. Learn more here.

Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove Fireworks Display | Panther Park, 118 West Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove

Monday, June 30th | 7PM

The 2025 annual Cedar Grove fireworks display will be held at Panther Park. The event will begin at 7PM with a rain date of July 1st. Learn more here.

Fairlawn

Fairlawn Fireworks | Memorial Park, Berdan Avenue + 1st Street, Fairlawn

Thursday, June 26th | 7PM

Fair Lawn will host its fireworks show on Thursday, June 26th, at Memorial Park. The celebrations start at 7PM, and the fireworks will follow. Vendors will sell food and drinks, and live music will be performed by the “Steppin’ Out Band.” Tickets can be purchased during the presale or at the gate on the event day. Livingston

Livingston July 4th Celebration | Memorial Oval on Robert Harp Drive, Livingston 

Friday, July 4th | All Day

Livingston’s 4th of July celebration includes children’s programs with family-friendly activities, food trucks, a beer garden, and live music — beginning in the AM. Beginning at 7:30PM on the Oval, an Eagles tribute band, Winslow, will take the stage. Following that at 9PM, the fireworks will start. Learn more here.

Newark | Branch Brook Park, Park Avenue + Lake Street, Newark

Friday, June 27th | 7:30PM

There will be a diverse lineup of performers to take the stage at Branch Brook Park on June 27th. Fireworks will follow and the event is free and open to the public. Learn more here.

Newark | Weequahic Park, Elizabeth + Meeker Avenues, Newark

Tuesday, July 1st | 7:30PM

At 7:30 PM on July 1st, there will be a variety of performers taking the stage at Weequahic Park. After the performances, guests can expect fireworks to follow. The event is also free and open to the public. Learn more here.

Paramus Fireworks | Cliff Gennarelli Sports Complex, Paramus

Sunday, July 6th | 6PM

Gates will open at 6PM for the Paramus 4th of July celebration. There will be live music and the event will be hosted by DJ Valentino and iHeartRadio. The fireworks will start at dusk. Learn more here.

Verona Fireworks | Liberty Field, White Rock Road, Verona

Wednesday, July 2nd | 7PM

Starting at 7PM, there will be a DJ, dancing + entertainment at Liberty Field in Verona. Fireworks will start once it’s dark, around 9:15PM. Learn more here.

Ridgewood

Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration | Veteran’s Field, North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood

Friday, July 4th at 6PM

With gates opening at 6PM, Ramsey will host its  July 4th celebration with performances by The Dad’s Night Band and others. The National Anthem will be sung at 9PM with fireworks to follow. Learn more here.
