Mega Cleanliness and Tree Conservation Drive Event in New York + New Jersey

DSNDP is excited to invite you to cover and report on our Mega Cleanliness and Tree Conservation Drive at 21 locations in New York and New Jersey on April 27, 2024.

Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratisthan  (DSNDP) is a global, non profit organization dedicated to the efforts of Dr. Shri Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari, a prominent, global social reformer who transformed millions of lives throughout the world with his humanitarian teachings. The motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, The world is one family is depicted by various activities carried out worldwide by the foundation.

Continuing with this  ongoing commitment, DSNDP is organizing a Mega Cleanliness and Tree Conservation Drive in New York and New Jersey on April 27, 2024, to celebrate Earth Day and foster a balanced ecosystem. We anticipate the participation of 400 volunteers.

DSNDP is honored to have Senator Angela V. McKnight as Chief Guest, Assemblywoman Jessica Ramirez and other esteemed guests for the event. The guests will address the audience about their vision and contribution to New York and New Jersey and the importance of a balanced environment in communities.

Event Details:

Date: April 27, 2024 – 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Inauguration); 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (Drive)

Location: St. Peter’s University, Skyroom, 6th floor, 47 Glenwood Ave, Jersey City,  NJ 07306               

DSNDP prioritizes working  towards fostering a cleaner and greener environment. Since July 2022, in less than two years of the nationwide cleanliness drive initiative, DSNDP has expressed deep commitment to maintaining the beauty of America by adopting 17 States and 66 cities, pledging to keep them clean and litter-free, which aligns with the US government’s initiative.  These ongoing nationwide cleanliness drives  have engaged 1470 dedicated  DSNDP volunteers to collect approximately 24165 pounds of trash.

DSNDP is also actively engaged in Tree Plantation and Conservation across 13 states and 27 cities engaging 441 volunteers and resulting in a total of 17545 trees planted to date.

During the National Cancer Prevention Month, DSNDP successfully organized a Women’s Cancer Awareness Conference held in February 2023 in New Jersey to create awareness with Senator Angela V.McKnight (D) NJ Legislature as the honorary guest in attendance.
