The menu features rotating house coffee each day as well as seasonal drinks and lattes. The French Toast and Snickerdoodle Lattes are customer favorites. Kids will enjoy the steamers such as the Monkey Business (banana, caramel, + steamed milk) and Purple Rain (white chocolate, lavender, + steamed milk.) The Baristas are charged with creating new drinks and according to the owner, the homemade Chai is a popular choice. Unsure what to order? Choose from the board at the register that displays both baristas and customers’ favorite picks by name. Breakfast and lunch items are also available including the popular avocado and mozzarella bruschetta toasts.

The owner, Dave Fletcher, reflected upon Cedar Bean’s success by stating, “We identified a need for not only a coffee shop but a gathering place outside of the day-to-day.” Fletcher goes on to stress the importance of the arts to the coffee shop’s mission as evidenced by the wall-to-wall art gallery and regular open mic nights. A great example of the owner’s creativity and community focus is the playful treasure hunts where patrons search for gift cards in the trails of Cedar Grove as announced on the Cedar Bean’s Instagram account.
