Breast cancer is a form of cancer that affects both men and women. October is Breast Cancer Month, when throughout the month, advocates, survivors, and other supporters work together to educate and bring awareness about breast cancer. YWCA Princeton’s Beyond Pink Art Show | 3535 US-1, Princeton
October 20th | 6PM
Artworks by breast cancer survivors and other artists will be on display. Guests will be able to purchase these pieces from October 20th to October 27th. Sales made from the art will go directly towards the Breast Cancer Resource Center and patients supported by the Center.

Paint Bordentown Pink: Steps For a Cure | 316 Ward Avenue, Bordentown
October 21st | 10AM
Bordentown Area Running Club invites people to either run or walk to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Joseph Lawrence Park. Participants can do as many running or walking laps as they like. Activities like music, food, and games will follow. Pink costumes are encouraged — and there will be a chance to win the event’s costume contest.
Breast Cancer Golf Tournament | 410 US-46, Fairfield
October 21st | 10AM – 1PM
For any beginner or experienced golfers out there, all are welcome to attend a day of golfing for a cause. Golfing enthusiasts can invite friends, family, and colleagues to create a team and compete with other golfers. There are also chances to participate in numerous contests and win prizes. All proceeds made will go to breast cancer research.
Breast Cancer Awareness is Everything Fundraiser | 1005 Washington Street, Hoboken
October 25th | 6:30PM – 9:30PM
For its 5th year in a row, this event will be raising awareness and support towards breast cancer. Guests are invited to come dressed in pink, which is the symbolic color used for breast cancer. Live music, local food from restaurants, and an auction will be featured. The auction will have tickets to baseball games, Legoland, and rewards for restaurants. Funds made from the auction will go towards the breast cancer cause.
Real Estate Networking for Breast Cancer Awareness | 1900 Greentree Road, Cherry Hill
October 26th | 5:30PM – 9PM
This networking event welcomes real estate professionals and supporters for a night of awareness and connections. Organizers of the event will be accepting donations to curate an “Angel Care Bag.” Head scarves, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, blankets, and more of the accepted items can be found here.
NJCEED Breast Cancer Screening Event | 116 Newark Avenue, 3rd Floor, Jersey City
October 28th | 9AM – 1PM
Jersey City Medical Center will host a clinic that will give free mammograms to patients without insurance. Registration is required for the event as there will be specific time slots available.
The Brave + Beautiful United For the Fight | 1198 Penn Street, Camden
October 28th | 10AM – 1PM
MD Anderson Cooper Cancer Center and four Divine Nine NPHC Sororities are collaborating to host a free event. It will feature education and resources surrounding breast cancer. Screenings, raffles, giveaways, and speakers will be a highlight of the event.
Making Strides of Jersey City | 1 Audrey Zapp Drive, Jersey City
October 15th | 8AM
The organization Making Strides hosts events throughout the U.S. Annually, this three-mile walk welcomes families, survivors, and advocates to make their way through Liberty State Park. There will be crafts, music, and a Survivors + Thrivers interactive tent open to those who had or have breast cancer to bond with others.
Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser + Comedy Show | 156 East Milton Avenue, Rahway
October 29th | 4PM – 7PM
Impressions Body Solutions will be doing a “Pink Party” that includes a fundraiser and comedy show, hosted by GL Douglas. A light buffet with food will be available for guests. The party also has a masquerade party theme, allowing visitors to bring a decorative masquerade mask. Proceeds from the event will go to Saint Barnabas Hospital where Impression Body Solution’s owner was treated in 2018.

Breast Cancer Awareness Awards Silent Auction + Calendar Reveal | 4 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair
November 5th | 11PM
Firefighter’s Wear Pink cancer survivor nominees will be awarded grant money and be recognized for the 2023 Breast Cancer and Fire Safety Awareness events. There will also be a silent auction with tickets to sports events, vacation getaways, and other prizes. Live music and other entertainment will be included to bring awareness about breast cancer.
