Over the past few weeks, our team has worked hard to compile a list of the 50 best restaurants in New Jersey’s northern counties — Essex, Morris, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, Sussex, Union, Somerset, and Warren. Our picks include sit-down restaurants we think you must try at least once that have both great food and ambiance. We won’t spoil the full list, but here are a few spots that made the cut:
