Ishita was born and raised in Mumbai where she directed and creatively led television shows throughout India. Her life took a turn when she got married and moved to the US amid the pandemic. When meeting people in person was out of the question, reading HG helped her get acquainted with the community and instilled a sense of belonging, which is why she wanted to start her American chapter by working at the Hoboken Girl. Ishita loves to travel, attend yoga pop-ups, plant community meet-ups, explore restaurants with her husband, and binge-watching TV shows.
