October 13th – Parent Education Talk with Dr. Sheryl Ziegler
Montclair Cooperative School is hosting a Parent Ed Night with Dr. Sheryl Ziegler on Monday, October 13th, from 6PM to 8PM in the school’s annex. Dr. Ziegler, a renowned psychologist and author, will lead an important conversation about middle childhood, a stage of rapid growth in identity, friendships, moral development, and emotional resiliency.
Tickets are available online for $15 per person, and childcare will be available, making it easier for parents to attend and engage fully in the discussion for $5 per family.
Prospective Family Events
The school will also host two additional events for prospective families, including a fall Open House on Friday, October 10th at 9:30AM and a Milk + Cookies Playdate on Saturday, October 25th at 10AM. Join other families interested in learning more about Montclair Cooperative School, meet faculty and staff, and get to experience the campus firsthand.
There will be an additional Open House event on Saturday, November 22nd, starting at 11AM. Registration is required and can be completed online.
Forest Street Festival + Book Fair
This year’s Forest Street Festival + Book Fair is shaping up to be one of Montclair’s most beloved fall traditions, and the Co-op is pulling out all of the stops. The celebration will take over the campus with live music, artisan vendors, food, baked goods, and activities for kids. It’s a festive mix of community, creativity, and cozy fall vibes. Families are welcome to attend the Milk + Cookies Playdate, then head to the Forest Street Festival for the story time and more.
Bring the whole crew, take a walk past local authors’ tables, shop handmade goods, grab a snack, and soak in the friendly energy only Montclair Cooperative School can deliver. The event is open to all to enjoy.
