Avenel Flea Market | 1488 Rahway Avenue, Avenel

Vendors at Avenel Flea Market sell new, used, and antique goods, including jewelry, clothes, bags, and shoes. Though the market is small, some food vendors sell small bites and drinks. Hours of operation are open all year round on Thursdays from 6AM to 2:30PM and Saturdays + Sundays from 6AM to 3:30PM.

Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market | Convention Hall, Asbury Park
Asbury Park Punk Rock Flea Market happens three times a year. It originally began in the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, but due to renovations, it moved to the Jersey Shore Arts Center in 2024. Its most recent event on May 4th, 2025, took place at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, across the street from the Convention Hall. Just like last year, the market is traveling and partnering with other festivals and happenings in the area. Kids under 10 can enter for free. Its open hours are from 11AM to 5PM, and the upcoming dates are posted on the website.
Collingswood Auction + Flea Market | 1350 NJ-33, Farmingdale
Collingswood Auction and Flea Market is an indoor and outdoor market with vendors selling different items. Various collectibles, housewares, clothing, jewelry, antiques, and furniture can be found. The flea is open year-round on Fridays from 10AM to 5PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM to 5PM.
Englishtown Auction Flea Market | 90 Wilson Avenue, Englishtown
Englishtown Auction Flea Market is a smaller outdoor market open all year round on Saturdays and Sundays from 7AM through 4PM. The flea is free, as is parking. Some goods that can be found are tools, gardening supplies, jewelry, pet supplies, and antiques.
Golden Nugget Antique + Flea Market | 1850 River Road, Lambertville
Golden Nugget Antique + Flea Market has all things antique, collectibles, and art. The outdoor market is open all year long with free admission and parking. The market is open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6AM through 4PM. Art, music, housewares, antique games, jewelry, and cameras are a few things found.
New Meadowlands Flea Market | Metlife Stadium Lot J, East Rutherford
New Meadowlands Flea Market is an outdoor market that opens every Saturday, all year round, from 8AM to 4PM. The market has jewelry, clothes, antiques, and other items for sale. Food and drinks are also available throughout the space. Admission and parking are free, making it a convenient and affordable outing for everyone. All other information can be found on its website.
New Jersey Thrift Market at Pino’s | 13 North 4th Avenue, Highland Park
This New Jersey thrift market is coming to town a few times a year. Its next market is on July 12th from 1PM to 5PM at Pino’s Highland Park, locals can shop secondhand vintage clothing, jewelry, shoes, bags, and more. There will also be drinks and food available at the venue’s bar for all guests 21+ to enjoy.
Manahawkin Flea Market | 657 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin
Manahawkin Flea Market is an indoor and outdoor market open all year round on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s filled with hair accessories, tools, glassware, toys, and collectibles. Vendors selling fruits, veggies, and other foodie items are scattered about the space. Parking is not an issue as the market spans across a four-acre lot. The flea is open from 10AM to 7PM.
Montclair Flea | 1 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair

Montclair Flea is a small, outdoor market filled with vendors selling clothing, jewelry, pottery, and art. The market is open every non-holiday weekend, and the dates are announced through its website and Instagram. The market vendors are local small businesses, food vendors, and other treats from the area serving the market. Locals can expect plenty of shopping, programming for kids, food, drinks, music, food trucks, murals, sculptures, and even art exhibitions. Admission is free for all to enjoy. Montclair Flea is open from 11AM to 6PM.
Pacific Flea | 149 Pacific Avenue, Jersey City

This flea market, open every few Saturdays from April through October from 11AM to 5PM, is a treasure trove for those seeking different and nostalgic pieces. Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market | 81 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton + Various Locations
Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market is an indoor punk rock market filled with vinyl music records, vintage things, and clothes. The flea only happens three times a year, but partners with other events in the area to bring the vendors there. Ticket information on the events and the market can be found on its website or Instagram. Open Hours are from 10AM to 5PM. Scranberry Coop | 42 Main Street, Andover
Scranberry Coop is a once-a-month flea market that happens on the first Sunday of each month. The flea is only open from April through November, with the rain dates following the next Sunday. The market has all vintage finds, from antiques to collectibles. The flea is open from 9AM to 2PM.
17 Local High School Students Graduate From the Newark Museum of Art Explorers Program
Seventeen high school students in Essex County are celebrating a major accomplishment today, June 4th. The Newark Museum of Art (NMOA) is graduating its 30th class from its Explorers Program — a college- and career-preparatory program that provides students with education, employment, and mentoring opportunities, among other things. Read on for more about the Newark Museum of Art's Explorers Program and the 2025 class of graduating students.

About the Program + 2025 Graduates
The Newark Museum of Art Explorers Program is a four-year paid internship that is available to high school students who are either from Newark, or attend a Newark school (public, private, or homeschool). The full program is comprised of 50 students. This year's senior class of graduates includes 17 Newark students from various schools:

The college- and career-prep program provides students with education, employment, and mentoring opportunities, as well as access to science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) within the museum setting. Every week after school and during the summer, the Explorers come to NMOA to participate in workshops about various subjects including public speaking, college, science, and the arts. The students also have the opportunity to go on trips to other institutions throughout the duration of the program.
Per a press release, the program has roots in one of the earliest museum-based after school programs in the world. Founded in 1913, The Junior Museum at the Newark Museum exposed local K-12 students to science and museum-provided resources such as fine art, decorative arts and music. The NMOA Explorers Program was formalized in 1995.

The Explorers Program is "renowned for its impact and has been recognized with a National Arts and Humanities Award, the highest honor for an out-of-school arts and humanities program." It has had a 100% acceptance rate to higher and continuing education institutions, including Rutgers, Yale, Brown, Cornell, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon, among others.
“The Newark Museum of Art Explorers Program uplifts young people as they discover who they are, honor where they come from, and step boldly into who they’re meant to be," Shirley Thomas Ward, Deputy Director of Learning + Engagement at NMOA said in a press release. “We invite participants to explore hands-on opportunities that encourage creativity, collaboration, and discovery through meaningful interactions with artists, scientists, and a wide range of professionals from our community. This embodies the core of the Museum’s mission: to provide inclusive, thought-provoking experiences that ignite curiosity and foster connections with new ideas and people.”
