Branch Brook Park | Lake Street + Park Avenue, Newark
An iconic cherry blossom destination, Branch Brook Park is home to the Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, which is happening on April 19th. The park is also home to the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center with a gallery and display cases highlighting the history of cherry blossoms in Newark.
New Jersey Botanical Gardens | 5 Morris Road, Ringwood
ICYMI — NJ has its own botanical garden, which is located on a mountaintop with 96 acres of gardens, surrounded by thousands of acres of woodlands. NJBG frequently hosts tours of the gardens and the Manor House, which is a great way to get the most out of your experience. While you’re there, stop by the cherry blossom display.
Verona Park | Porcello Lane, Verona

Verona Park is a 54.32-acre park with a lake originally formed in 1814. The park is used for boating, bathing, skating, picnics, and band concerts. This is a great location for water sports and cherry blossom photos.
