Ideal Home: Ralphie would do best in a home where he can get all the love + attention. While not a super active pup, his owners must like to go for walks as they’re the highlight of his day.
Kids: 10 and up

Cats: Unknown, will cat test for an approved adopter.
Crate-Trained: Yes — Ralphie actually enjoys spending time in his crate.
House Trained: Yes, will bark at the door when he has to go outside.
Other training: Ralphie does not seem to know any commands, but is very treat-motivated.
Leash Manners: Ralphie walks well on a leash.
Personality: Ralphie is a very sweet lap dog who loves to be by your side. He enjoys getting pets + snuggling up with his foster family — and his absolute favorite activity is to go for walks!
Why she/he was brought to the rescue: Ralphie was surrendered to WISE when his family no longer could care for him.

Rubeus Hagrid
Name: Rubeus Hagrid
Breed: Pekingese
Weight: Approximately 16 pounds
Age: 7
Ideal Home: Rubeus is looking for a rescue-experienced home that will work on building his confidence and giving him the space + time he needs to come around. He is such a wonderful, deserving dog who is ready to shine — he just needs some extra love + patience.
Kids: 10 and up — Reubus is fine with kids and ignores them.

Dogs: Yes — Rubeus would love a home with another dog + is currently being fostered with multiple dogs.
Cats: Unknown, will cat test for an approved adopter.
Crate-Trained: Rubeus does not like the crate but does like his pen.
House Trained: Rubeus spent his entire life in a cage up until now. As such, he is still working on potty training.
Leash Manners: Rubeus walks well on a leash + enjoys walks.
Personality: Rubeus is a reserved pup who really needs confidence building. After spending his life in a cage, used over + over for breeding, he is looking for a loving home that will teach him that the world is a good, loving place. Rubeus wants to be social + loved but is still learning how.
Why she/he was brought to the rescue: WISE recently rescued a group of dogs who were throw aways from an Amish breeding puppy mill. When the “breeder” decided that the dogs were no longer needed for breeding, he planned to euthanize them. WISE and other rescues stepped up to rescue them.
