Saint Sebastian Feast in Montclair is Taking Place 8/24-8/28

It’s still summer for a few more weeks, which means there are a variety of outdoor happenings going on around Essex County. To add to the fun, the 96th Annual Saint Sebastian Feast in Montclair starts today and runs through Sunday, August 28th. Read on to learn more about the Saint Sebastian Feast and what this year’s festivities are.

The Details

The 96th Annual Saint Sebastian Feast is hosted by The Society of Saint Sebastian and will be held from Wednesday, August 24th – Sunday, August 28th along Walnut and Christopher Streets near Kaveny Field in Montclair. The festival hours are 5PM – 10PM for Wednesday through Friday, and 3PM – 10PM on Saturday and Sunday.

As for the festivities — the Saint Sebastian Feast includes an outdoor cafe, a wine + beer cash bar, nightly entertainment, a midway with carnival rides and games, a giant 50/50 raffle, and more. To kick off the last day of the festival on Sunday, there will be a mass in honor of St. Sebastian at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church — located at 94 Pine Street in Montclair — followed by a procession through the streets of Montclair at 3:30PM.

The live entertainment is from 6PM – 10PM each night of the festival, and the schedule is:

  • Saturday, August 27th – Tommy Scala
  • Sunday, August 28th – Eric DeLauro
