Montclair Film Festival Returns on 10/18
Friday, October 18th – Sunday, October 27th
The annual Montclair Film Festival will be held from October 18th to the 27th, and will feature a top-notch selection of special screenings, panels, and notable events. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Montclair Film Festival Box Office at 486 Bloomfield Ave., Monday-Saturday from 12PM-5PM, with extended hours during the festival.
Montclair Book Center’s Haunted Labyrinth
Montclair Book Center 221 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair
Friday, October 25th – Saturday, October 26th from 7PM-11PM
Montclair Book Center is transforming into a haunted labyrinth this month with frightening + creepy encounters. For just $10 a ticket, you can explore the haunted house featuring a maze of bookshelves with scares + surprises around every corner.

Essex County LGBT Rain Foundation | 168 Park Street, East Orange
The mission of the LGBT Rain Foundation of Essex County is to get 18-26 LGBTQ+ people experiencing homelessness on the path from transitional housing to permanent housing. A variety of tasks are needed to run this foundation. Volunteers are asking to make a six-month commitment at a time to allow for relationship-building with the residents. Learn more here.
Kids Helping Kids | 229 Midland Avenue, Montclair
The name of this non-profit is really all that needs to be known to understand the scope of the work. Kids Helping Kids engages middle + high school students in service projects that directly support underserved kids in the area. Since its inception, over 65,000 students have benefited from this partnership across 139 schools through the help of over 5,200 volunteers. Learn more here.
National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals | Northern New Jersey
This national organization has made itself available to real estate agents in various areas of the country. Its North New Jersey chapter is dedicated to championing homeownership for Latinx individuals in this region.
